MAG (Mines Advisory Group): Website, Extranet and Content Management System
Manchester's 'pride and joy' embrace content management.
The only international charity to be based in Manchester, MAG, has chosen Ichameleon to help them in their fight to clear war-torn areas of landmines so that the land can be reclaimed by communities.
Work has started on a Treeline International Content Management System that will allow MAG to communicate, educate and fundraise much more easily and effectively online.
The International version of Treeline has the ability to handle multiple languages. In this case the initial development will be done in English, German and Japanese, with other languages to follow.
Other features of the solution include:
- MAG can build, manage and publish their own HTML email newsletters.
- Non-technical staff can create web pages, including complex formatting, using our WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) page editor.
- Administrators can add new microsites for country initiatives at will. These microsites can be managed by the country's own site administrator using the Content Management System.
- Multiple levels of access rights to the Content Management System and the Extranet mean the organisation can protect high-level content while allowing maximum access to general information.
